System Dynamics Glossary
What is the meaning of System Dynamics (System Dynamics Modelling)?
System dynamics (system dynamics modelling) is
a tool intended to enable our thinking about how feedback,
delay, shifting feedback loop dominance, and non-linearity contribute to systemic
behaviour. System dynamics (system dynamics modelling)
is a methodology embedded in the cybernetic or control paradigm,
that is the ‘branch of control theory which deals with
socio-economic systems’ (Coyle, 1977).
